K Sharp plays a crucial role within the defence sector.
Our contribution to defence research and defence product design has been a cornerstone of K Sharp for the last 10 years. We also support the people we work with. And we’re proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant - a promise by the nation to make sure that those who serve, or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
We’re delighted to have been awarded the Silver level of recognition in the Covenant.
To achieve Silver, organisations must proactively demonstrate that the Armed Forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged as part of their recruitment policies. They must also actively ensure their workforce is aware of their positive policies towards Defence people issues for Reservists, Veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, and spouses and partners of those serving in the Armed Forces.
K Sharp are one of only 24 companies in Wales to have received the award this year.
